Since opening on Mother Teresa’s birthday, August 26, 2001, He has blessed us with many sacred opportunities to serve our dearest Lord, some of which we may not be currently doing, but always welcome again, with inspiration and new ideas. Past projects include collecting used towels for sea lion rescue and animal shelters, serving hot lunches to Day Workers waiting for work, and serving meals at Shelters (they are committed to sober living and adherences to Jesus teachings to improve their lives; and our Sai group speaks of the Lord in general terms, sharing their devotion and love). Serving healthy Vegetarian meals has inspired others to gain a greater appreciation for the health benefits, and a joy to spend time together. We have brought boys from Group homes to visit convalescent homes, bringing them homemade cards and visits. Those in the Convalescent Homes share and teach wisdom, and all enjoy their sweet stories of lives well-lived, and the opportunities to remind all of us how much God loves and appreciates them!

Teaching SSEHV classes at the Orange County Interfaith Shelter to the children, helping parents with hair cutting and babysitting, so they can go on job interviews, as they can attend to their medical and emotional needs learning to be self-sufficient and learning through the role model models from staff and volunteers. Sometimes as simple as how to properly wash their hands or to say Please and Thank You, speaking lovingly and politely as the example set by our Bhagavan.

We have shared stories of human values and give these sweet children and often grateful adults a chance to express their creativity by painting and drawing examples of Human Values (then exhibited at Costa Mesa City Hall for a month).

His center is looking for opportunities to serve food, and thankfully involved with Sai Prema Nilayam in Riverside, to serve meals as much as possible. Friends and families assisting can never forget the look on the faces in the community and His love that only our dearest Lord can inspire us, as part of His divine Mission.
