Center Background
The Sathya Sai Baba Center of Lomita, established in the South Bay since 1996, is a spiritual center inspired by the universal teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Today, our small devoted group of 11–16 active members gathers regularly for devotional programs, including bhajans and study circles focused on Swami’s messages of love, unity, and human values.
We also serve Downtown Los Angeles every Sunday through Narayana Seva / Feeding the Unhoused (preparing and distributing nourishing meals with love and respect). In addition, we meet on special occasions such as Guru Poornima and Mahashivarathri for devotional programs and collective joy.
Our small devoted group is an eclectic mix of different cultures and backgrounds, reflecting Baba’s teaching of Unity in Diversity. We strive to be all-inclusive, with Love and Truth as our guiding principles. All are welcome to participate in our programs and service activities.

Sai Spiritual Education (SSE)
The SSE classes for Children focus on the study of Sai Baba’s five human values: Truth, Peace, Love, Right Conduct and Non-Violence. Classes include Mantras, Devotional Singing and Universal prayers from all religions. The classes are fun and interactive and children learn Baba’s teachings, participate in skits and play value games. An important part of the curriculum is Unity in Diversity and children are familiarized with basic principles of the major world religions. Field trips include environmental projects, charity craft projects such as making Valentine cards and Easter egg baskets for underprivileged children and seniors, and trips to various religious sites such as temples, churches, mosques and synagogues.
